how the three hours play
- 5:00 – 5:15pm— quick async standup (what you're stuck on, what shipped overnight).
- 5:15 – 6:30pm — live lecture from Julien (one concept per session, max).
- 6:30 – 7:30pm — hands-on lab work with cohort feedback.
- 7:30 – 8:00pm— group critique on the previous day's assignment.

when does cohort KO-1 start?
Monday, July 6, 2026 at 5pm Beirut time. The cohort runs eight weeks ending Friday, August 28, 2026.
when do applications close for KO-1?
Applications close July 4, 2026. Selection is a 15-minute intro call + interview with Julien (June 30 – July 4). Offers are sent on July 5, 2026.
how much does cohort KO-1 cost?
$700 pilot price for KO-1, paid in two installments via Whish Money (Lebanon's mobile wallet). The anchor price (what KO-02 will likely list at) is $1,200 — KO-1 saves $500.
how many seats are in KO-1?
20 seats total for the pilot cohort. We intentionally keep it small so Julien teaches every session himself.
is cohort KO-1 online or in person?
Hybrid — most sessions are live online (5–8pm Beirut, Mon–Fri). Several workshops happen in-person at the koalia studio in Beirut. Students based outside Lebanon can complete the whole program online.
